The Region of Durham announced it is organizing a low-cost rabies vaccination clinic on Saturday, September 27 in Whitby.
Immunization against rabies is required by Ontario Regulation 567/90 Rabies Immunization under the Health Protection and Promotion Act for cats and dogs three months or older.
Hosted by Vets Around the Corner Community Veterinarian Program in partnership with Whitby Animal Services and Durham Region Health Department, the clinic will be held at the Brooklin Community Centre on
45 Cassels Road East from 10 am to 2 pm.
Prices are:
- $50 plus tax per rabies vaccine.
- $30 plus tax per microchip.
The announcement said no appointment is necessary. Please arrive with dogs on a leash and cats in a carrier.
