Tow War? Several shots fired at towing firm’s premises

Durham police are seeking information after an overnight shooting at a business in Pickering.

On Wednesday, September 24 at about 2:20 am, members of West Division responded to a shooting on Notion Road, at a towing business.

An employee was in the parking lot when a black coloured sedan pulled up and a male exited the vehicle, firing several shots toward the business. The suspect fled the area prior to police arrival.

Officers arrived on scene and located numerous shell casings. No physical injuries have been reported to police.

Investigators believe this incident to be an isolated incident.

Several arson incidents have taken place in the past in Durham involving tow vehicles (see below).
