15-year old last suspect in Oshawa swarming charged

Durham police investigators have arrested the final outstanding suspect in connection with the swarming incident in Oshawa.

On Saturday, September 20, investigators arrested the final outstanding suspect. A 15-year-old female from Oshawa has been charged and released on an undertaking.

On Wednesday July 2 at about 12:30 am, members from Central East Division were called to the Pizza Pizza located at 199 Wentworth Street West in Oshawa for an assault (see below).

One of the individuals jumped behind the counter and attempted to take an item. That suspect was confronted by the victim and a violent struggle ensued. During that struggle, several other individuals also jumped behind the counter, swarmed and assaulted the victim, police said.
