Metrolinx, the operator of GO transit, is reminding customers that GO Transit will operate on a Saturday schedule this Labour Day Monday, September 1.
To make the most of the long weekend, Metrolinx is promoting the $10 GO holiday and weekend pass, which allows unlimited travel on GO Transit for one day on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
That means you can ride on any GO train or bus, to and from wherever you’re going, for just $10 each weekend day and statutory holiday. The Weekend Passes are only available online on the GO e-ticket platform and are only valid for one day.
GO riders can also take advantage of free transfers through the One Fare program between GO Transit and most local transit agencies, including the TTC.
Riders are encouraged to check schedules in advance and plan their trips before travelling.
