Group fight over fake phone ends in dangerous driving

Durham Police said an 18-year old male from Toronto has been charge with dangerous driving and fraud, after a fight in Ajax on Monday.

On August 14, officers of the West Division attended the area of Salem Road and Taunton Road for a fight that had broken out between two groups.

The altercation took place 0ver the sale of a fake cellphone, said a police statement.

The accused then drove his vehicle in a dangerous manner when fleeing the scene, and was arrested by responding officers.
