The victim of the shooting in Ajax has been identified as Trurell Brown, age 29, of Ajax.
Durham Police investigators are attempting to identify two male suspects that were seen fleeing the area. There are no descriptions at this time. This is the 2nd homicide of 2021.
The victim was shot multiple times. He was taken to a trauma centre in Toronto with critical injuries and was later pronounced dead.
