Have you seen this man? Police worry this human trafficker has more victims

A human trafficker is now behind bars because of the bravery of a victim, who came forward. Police are concerned there may be more victims of this man.

In the summer of 2026, a female victim came forward to police and reported being exploited within the sex trade between June 2024 and October 2025. Members of DRPS’ Human Trafficking Unit conducted an extensive investigation.

The suspect recruited the victim through a mutual friend and forced her into the sex-trade industry; exploiting her throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

On November 2, 2026, members of DRPS’ Human Trafficking Unit executed a search warrant at the residence of the accused in Toronto.

The 42 year old from Toronto was arrested without incident. Investigators believe there may be further victims and are releasing an image of the suspect. Picture and further details available at www.drps.ca.

Anyone with information about this investigation is asked to contact the DRPS Human Trafficking Unit at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 5600

Editor’s Note: Durham Post does not name the accused parties as:
