Help identify senior found at trail in medical distress

Durham Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify an elderly male who was transported to a local area hospital after being found on a walking trail in Clarington.

On Monday, June 17 at about 8:40 pm, members of East Division responded to a check on well being call in the area of Cobbledick Road and Fairway Drive, in Newcastle.

A 70-year-old male was located on the Samuel Wilmot Nature Trail in medical distress. The male was found alone and had no identification on him. Police have been unable to determine the male’s identity, sad a report.

The male is described as: White, 70-80 years-old, 6’ tall, approximately 175 lbs, with a medium build, balding short white hair (brush cut), and a full white beard. He was wearing dark glasses, a blue/brown/grey/orange plaid button up short sleeve shirt, khaki cargo shorts, a leather belt, and brown walking shoes. The male has distinguishing patches of pigmented skin (vitiligo) on both his right and left hand, as well as his right and left feet.
