On April 13, 2021, a white male committed two convenience store robberies in Courtice.
The first was at the Food Worth Variety located at 2812 Trulls Rd, the second was at the Daily Mart located at 1656 Nash Rd. The male was armed with a small hatchet.
The accused was observed driving a white Chevrolet or GMC 2500 style, described as a crew cab pick up truck with roof lights. The male was wearing an orange hooded sweater with a light beige button-up jacket, dark pants, a brown scarf, one yellow and black glove with a ring on his right ring finger. He was carrying a reusable shopping bag that was inside out with a Toronto Blue Jays baseball logo on it.
