Help police identify this Tim Hortons armed robber

Durham police are releasing video surveillance images from a robbery that occurred at a Tim Hortons in Whitby last month.

On July 16 at about 8:50 pm, a male entered the Tim Hortons on Dundas Street near McQuay Boulevard in Whitby. He was dressed in construction clothing and made his way into the employee area while brandishing a handgun. The suspect made a demand for cash and then fled, police said.

The suspect is described as male, black, 6′ tall, 190 lbs. He was wearing a white shirt, black pants, hat and a surgical mask covering his face. A vehicle of interest is described as a white, four-door 2016 to 2020 Nissan Maxima.
