In Pictures: How it was for Chief-for-a-Day Abrielle

DRPS Chief-for-a-Day Abrielle Sawyer-Danis was officially sworn in yesterday surrounded by her new employees and family. She then toured the DRPS and learned about policing.

First stop was at Traffic Services where Abrielle had a chance to check out the motorcycle, the Zodiac boat and conduct radar on Taunton Road.

Chief Abrielle’s day continued as she got a tour of Forensic Ident by Cst. Maclean. She had the opportunity to learn about fingerprinting and collecting evidence.

Chief Abrielle took part in some use of force exercises before touring Communications/911.
