A dog is assuredly a man’s – and woman’s – best friend; and he’s also a best friend of our community keeping us safe.
Time and again Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) canny Canine Unit has proven its effectiveness in apprehending criminals that were getting away or couldn’t be spotted by the officers.
And this was the case again last week with police service dog Riot.
💥JUMP JUMP💥
PC Burns, K9 Riot & @DRPSWestDiv teamed up to track & locate a lone Suspect who broke into a Residence yesterday. With a strong perimeter from Officers & solid dog work, it didn’t take K9 Riot long to quickly apprehend the fleeing Suspect!
