The Regional Municipality of Durham has announced lane restrictions on Bayly Street (Regional Road 22) in Pickering.
- When: June 11 to June 26.
- Where: Bayly Street, between Liverpool Road and St. Martins Drive, in the City of Pickering.
- Why: To safely modify an existing center island and eliminate a driveway.
Meanwhile, Pickering issued notice of temporary sidewalk closure on Liverpool Road (east side), from Bayly Street to Highway 401 Westbound Off-ramp.
- Purpose: Due to ongoing works at Liverpool Road Bridge, the sidewalk on the east side, from Bayly Street to the Highway 401 Westbound Off-ramp will be temporarily closed to pedestrian traffic.
- Duration: Ongoing till July 10
Applicable signage will be posted to ensure pedestrian traffic is redirected.
