Restrictions on Uxbridge road from today till 29th

The Regional Municipality of Durham has announced lane restrictions on Sandford Road in the Township of Uxbridge.

These are scheduled to take place from today June 6 to 29. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Lane restrictions will be in place daily on Sandford Road (Regional Road 11), from 200 metres west of Concession Road 5 to Concession Road 7, the municipality said.

It said the lane restrictions will be in place for the installation of paved shoulders.

The region said it realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
