Late night carjacking at knifepoint in Pickering

An 18-year-old Brampton male had his vehicle stolen at knifepoint in Pickering on Friday, according to Durham Police.

On October 30 at approximately 1 am, police were called after the 18-year-old male victim reported the carjacking. He and a 19-year-old male friend were parked in a lot on Valley Farm Road near The Esplanade South in Pickering when two vehicles approached. The two vehicles boxed them in and 4-5 males got out. One male suspect pointed a knife at the victim and pulled him out of the vehicle. The suspects then drove all three vehicles away. The two victims were not physically injured, said a police statement.

Suspect #1 is described as a male, South Asian, 5’11” tall (180 cms) wearing a black hooded sweater, black ski mask and black pants. He was brandishing a knife.

Suspect #2 is described as a male, South Asian, 6′ tall (183 cms), wearing a black jacket, grey hooded sweater and a black face mask.

Suspect #3 is described as a male, black 6′ tall with dreadlocks and wearing dark clothing.

Suspect #4 is described as a male, black, wearing dark clothing.

The stolen vehicle is a black, four-door Honda Accord with plate number CJLT451. The two suspect vehicles that boxed in the victim and his friend are described as a black Honda Civic and a light-brown SUV.
