Police arrested a 26-year-old man after he was found with a loaded handgun in an Oshawa hookah lounge.
On Wednesday, July 24 at 1:50 am, police were called to the Shisha Lounge on King Street West in Oshawa after a male was seen with a handgun. Officers arrived on scene and located a male with a handgun hidden on his person. He was arrested without incident.
Jermaine Jones, age 26 of Dalhousie Crescent in Oshawa, is charged with various firearm offences including Careless Carry of Firearm and Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm.
He was held for a bail hearing.
