Motorcycle-helmet man tries to rob Clarington pharmacy

A Clarington pharmacy was robbed early yesterday morning by a suspect wearing a motorcycle helmet.

On  July 8 at 12:04 am, police were dispatched to the Shoppers Drug Mart on King Street East in Bowmanville for a robbery call. A lone male suspect entered the pharmacy area of the store wearing a motorcycle helmet with the face cover down. A note was passed to the pharmacist demanding narcotics. The suspect became agitated and fled the store before obtaining anything. No one was physically injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as male, white between the ages of 25 and 45. He is approximately 5’10” to 6′ tall with a thin build and fair complexion. He was wearing full-face motorcycle helmet, a red long-sleeved shirt with a Caterpillar brand logo.
