Police find stolen GMC Yukon after a traffic stop

Police has located a stolen vehicle after a traffic stop in Oshawa Sunday evening.

On July 7 at 6:55 pm, members of Central East Division conducted a traffic stop near Wilson Road and Olive Avenue in Oshawa. Officers stopped a GMC Yukon and arrested two male occupants inside. The stolen vehicle also contained stolen spools of armoured cable and other stolen property.

Tyler Stephens, age 27, of Creighton Avenue in Oshawa and Bryan Demone, age 54, of Cedar Street in Oshawa are charged with Possession of Break-In Instruments and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000. Stephens was also charged with Fail to Comply with Probation Order.

They were released on a Promise to Appear.
