Motorcyclist caught doing 70 more than posted limit

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) caught a motorcycle driver doing 70kmh over the posted speed limit.

During the long weekend a driver was charged after the speed of his motorcycle measured to be 151kmh in a posted 80kmh zone, said a police tweet.

It said the motorcycle was impounded for 30 days and the driver’s licence was suspended.

Officers want to remind everyone to slow down and stay safe.
