The Regional Municipality of Durham has announced new hours at the Clarington Household Special Waste Depot in Bowmanville in the Municipality of Clarington.
When: Effective October 20, the site is open Tuesday through Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm. Extended hours to 6 pm on Tuesdays only will start again in May and continue until the first Tuesday in October.
This facility is closed Sundays, Monday and holidays.
Where: 1998 Bowmanville Avenue in Clarington.
Why: The new hours align with the Region’s other Waste Management Facilities (WMFs).
