Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday reported a disturbing reality.
“Over the past hour officers have responded to numerous Mental Health and Suicide attempt calls,” said a DRPS tweet yesterday.
Mental health is a natural victim in these time of covid keeping people indoors, sometimes alone.
DRPS said the Region of Durham has resources and 24-hour crisis services available.
