Oshawa man stabbed at start of day

A 30-year-old Oshawa man was taken to hospital after being stabbed in Oshawa early Wednesday morning.

On Wednesday, August 18, at approximately 7 am, members from Central East Division were called to an apartment on Nonquon Road for a disturbance. Officers arrived and located a male victim with a stab wound. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. A distraught female was located in the apartment and taken into custody.

The 25-year-old female of Oshawa was taken to a local hospital with self-inflicted injuries, to be assessed. The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
