Oshawa man held for robbing same store… twice

Police have arrested a 35-year-old Oshawa male in connection with two robberies at the same convenience store that occurred in May 2019.

On May 19, the Circle K convenience store on Wentworth Street in Oshawa was robbed by a masked male brandishing a handgun. On May 28, the same store was robbed by a male who was brandishing a knife.

The accused was arrested on Monday without incident. He has been charged with both robberies.

Ryan Watson, age 35 of Gibb Street in Oshawa, is charged with: Robbery with Restricted or Prohibited Firearm; Disguise with Intent x2; Possess Weapon for Committing Offence x2 and Robbery.

He was held for a bail hearing.
