Oshawa teen safe after being shot during quarrel

Durham Police are appealing for witnesses after a 19-year-old male was shot in Oshawa over the weekend.

On Saturday, November 6, at approximately 12:01 am, members of Central East Division were dispatched to an armed person call in the parking lot of BLVD Restaurant and Bar on Simcoe Street North. An altercation had occurred between two groups of people and one male was shot. He was taken to a Toronto-area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, said a police statement.

They are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

One suspect is described as male with a tan or light complexion, thin build and approximately 5′ 6″ tall with long braided hair. He was wearing blue pants, a red hoodie and grey baseball cap.
