A portion of Joseph Kolodzie Oshawa Creek trail has been closed for repairs, the city announced yesterday.
It will be closed from March 20 to mid-April from the Thomas Street Trail Head parking lot (200 Thomas Street) to Ritson Road South trail.
The work is being done to accommodate urgent repairs to restore the creek bank adjacent to the Joseph Kolodzie Trail south of Thomas Street.
Repair work is scheduled to occur between 7 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday. Community members are advised to avoid the construction area.
For public safety, a portion of the Thomas Street parking lot will be closed to accommodate heavy equipment and associated noise levels may increase during these times.
