Police look for arsonist who set fire to car in Oshawa

Durham Police are attempting to identify a suspect in an arson that occurred Tuesday morning in Oshawa, Durham Police said yesterday.

On Tuesday, May 10 at approximately 5:45 am, members from the Central East Division responded to an arson in the area of Eulalie Avenue and James Street. The suspect set fire to a black 2011 Chevrolet Silverado, said a police statement.

The suspect is described as a male, White, he wore a white/grey patterned sweater, blue jeans and black shoes.

Anyone with any new information about this arson, including dash cam footage in the area, is asked to contact D/Cst. Guminny of the Central East Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-579-1520 ext. 2712.
