Police look for jewelry robbers who hit Whitby Mall

Durham Police are looking for several suspects after they smashed glass display cases and stole jewelry at a store in Whitby on Saturday.

On September 10 at about 5:01 pm, members of Central West Division responded to an armed robbery at the Graziella Fine Jewellery store on Dundas Street in the Whitby Mall. Three suspects, one armed with a handgun entered the store, and smashed the glass display, stole jewelry and fled to an awaiting SUV vehicle, said a police statement.

There were no physical injuries sustained by the employees, it said.

The three suspects are described as male, Black, all wearing dark clothing.

The suspect vehicle is described as a dark coloured SUV.

Anyone with any new information about this robbery including dash cam footage in the area at the time of the incident, is asked to contact the Major Crime Robbery Unit at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 5355.
