Police looking for man who rammed cruiser in stolen Dodge

Durham Police said one male is in custody and one male is absconding after ramming a police cruiser in a stolen Dodge, and fleeing on foot in Oshawa.

On Tuesday, December 12, at about 11:05 am, members of Central East Division responded to a suspicious vehicle call in the area of Taunton Road East and Mary Street North in Oshawa.

The two suspects then fled the vehicle on foot. One male was arrested a short distance away. One male is still outstanding.

The 21-year old from East Gwillimbury was charged and held for a bail hearing. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
