A male and a female were arrested after Durham Police investigators executed a search warrant at an Oshawa home on Thursday.
On February 3 members of the Central East Division Property Crimes Unit executed a search warrant for a theft investigation that began in January. The suspects attended several hardware stores in the GTA, stole power tools and then sold them online. Investigators seized approximately $5,000 worth of DeWalt power tools, cash and crystal methamphetamine from a residence in Oshawa.
The woman of Oshawa, is charged with 25 Criminal Code offences including: Theft Under $5,000; Possession Under $5,000; Possession of Schedule I Substance and numerous Fail to Comply with OIC Undertaking.
The man from Oshawa, is charged with 19 Criminal Code offences including Theft Under $5,000; Possession Under $5,000; Possession of Schedule I Substance and numerous Fail to Comply with Release Order.
