The City of Pickering is to host Youth Skateboard Jam on Saturday August 15 from 12 pm to 4 pm at West Shore Community Centre Skate Spot.
The free event is open to Pickering youth aged 13 to 19 and promises a high-energy day of skating, community connection, and non-test competition.
The skateboard jam will feature best-of-two 60-second runs and an overall best trick challenge, providing young skaters an opportunity to showcase their talent, creativity, and style. Prizes will be awarded to top performers.
The event is part of Pickering’s ongoing commitment to providing accessible recreational opportunities that encourage youth engagement, active living, skill development, and positive community connections.
