#ReadFor15Durham challenges you to…

Durham Region Libraries are encouraging communities to read for 15 minutes today (January 27) as part of the #ReadFor15Durham campaign.

In celebration of Family Literacy Day, #ReadFor15Durham aims to promote literacy in the community. Members of the public and schools are invited to participate and cheer on their local library!

How to participate:

  • Read for 15 minutes
  • Help your participating library win the challenge by posting on social media using #ReadFor15Durham (or tagging your local library)
  • Pickering has urged its residents to tag #PickeringPublicLibrary.

The community is encouraged to connect with their friends, families, and schools to get everyone involved. The library with the most participants will win the #ReadFor15Durham trophy!

Help your local library become “Durham’s Most Readerly Community.”
