There will be lane restrictions on Taunton Road East (Regional Road 4) at Ritson Road North (Regional Road 16), in Oshawa until July 10.
Lane will be closed Westbound on Taunton Road East, from Ritson Road North to 40 metres east of Ritson Road North to allow equipment access to repair a broken watermain.
Residents and businesses in the immediate area may experience a temporary water service interruption or decrease in water pressure during the repair. When the water service returns to normal, it is important for customers to turn on a cold water tap only and let it run for approximately five to 10 minutes to clean out any sediment that may have accumulated in your water service. This will avoid any sediment entering the hot water system.
Road Closure
Bermuda St. will be closed between Waverly St. N. and Antigua Cres. from Monday, July 22to Thursday, October 31.
Oshawa will be replacing the existing twin culvert in the creek with a new precast box culvert.
Oshawa Waste Management Facility maintenance
Durham Region’s Oshawa Waste Management Facility is getting some upgrades this summer, and as a result wait times may be longer than usual.
Work is ongoing through July and August at 1640 Ritson Road North facility.
