Part of Church Street in Ajax will be closed on Monday, and there will be lane restrictions in Pickering, according to municipal announcements.
The Town of Ajax announced that Phase 2 of the Church St. N road closure will be implemented on Monday March 23.
The Phase 2 road closure consists of extending the current Phase 1 road closure between Rossland Rd. and Harrisview St./Workmen’s Circle northerly to Clutterbuck Lane.

Residence located on the east side of Church St. must use Clutterbuck Lane for access/egress to and from their residence, the town said.
Pickering lane restrictions
Pickering has announced that lane restrictions on Altona Road for the installation of sanitary sewer, are expected to end on April 3.
The affected stretch of Altona Road between Sparrow Circle and Finch Avenue require lane restrictions to install a sanitary sewer across Altona Road to support new development, it said.
