A second person has been arrested in connection with the human trafficking of a 22-year-old victim.
On October 3, investigators from the Human Trafficking Unit arrested a second suspect for recruiting a 22-year-old female to work as an escort in the GTA in July 2019.
Abhilash Baiju, age 27, of Scarborough, is charged with Procuring; Material Benefit; Advertising Sexual Services and Obtaining Sexual Services for Consideration. He was held for a bail hearing.
