Shinny Hockey added at Delpark Centre outdoor rinks

Oshawa announced that Shinny Hockey has been added between 8 pm and 10 pm on outdoor ice rinks at Delpark Homes Centre (1661 Harmony Road North).

The natural outdoor rinks are open from 9 am to 10 pm daily. Hours of operation may be adjusted depending on ice or weather conditions. The outdoor rinks are located on the southeast sport field near the main entrance of the facility.

Please note that:

  • Rinks are available for leisure skating only between 9 am – 8 pm.
  • Shinny Hockey or stick and puck play is permitted between 8 pm – 10 pm.
    • 12 years of age and under from 8 pm – 9 pm.
    • 13 years of age and older from 9 pm – 10 pm.
    • CSA approved hockey helmets are required.
  • Visitors are asked to follow posted capacity limits based on government orders and public health recommendations.
  • Benches are located next to the rinks for skaters to put on skates and helmets.
  • Only persons wearing skates or sledges are permitted on the ice.
  • CSA approved hockey helmets are strongly recommended for all skaters.
  • Rinks are monitored hourly by City of Oshawa staff. Report any concerns to the Delpark Homes Centre by calling 905-436-5455.
  • Washroom access is available at Delpark Homes Centre from 9 am to 10 pm Monday to Sunday.
