Multiple shots were fired at a Pickering business overnight, but no injuries were reported. The same business had been targeted in March 2019.
Yesterday at 1:30 am, a West Division officer on routine patrol on Kingston Road heard what he thought were multiple gunshots in the vicinity of Guild/Denmar Road.
He observed a white Honda passenger vehicle driving away from the area, travelling eastbound on Kingston Road. The officer began following the vehicle, which made its way to Highway 401.
Due to increasing speeds, the officer stopped following the vehicle over concerns for public safety. The plate number confirmed the vehicle had been reported stolen in Toronto.
On March 14, several bullets were fired at the same business. In both cases, no injuries were reported.
