Know this man who tried to rob Shoppers Drug Mart?

Durham Police investigators are looking for a man who robbed of a Bowmanville pharmacy on July 8.

They have released security camera images of the suspect, described as a male, white, 25-45 years old, 5’10” tall with a slender build, light hair, wearing a red, long-sleeved shirt with a Caterpillar brand logo on it, black pants. He was carrying a green backpack.

The getaway vehicle was a bright red, smaller sporty gas-powered motorcycle. He was last seen driving east on Highway 2.

The incident occurred at 12:04 am at the Shoppers Drug Mart on King Street East in Bowmanville. The suspect was wearing a motorcycle helmet with the face cover down. A note was passed to the pharmacist demanding narcotics.

The suspect became agitated and fled the store before obtaining anything. No one was physically injured during the incident.
