Shots fired at a Pickering home from this car

Multiple shots were fired from a vehicle at a Pickering house Friday night and Durham police investigators are hoping the release of a surveillance image might help identify the suspect(s) involved.

On August 28 at about 10:40 pm, officers were called to a Madonna Court residence in Pickering for a report of gunshots. The house is located on a residential street on the north end of Liverpool Road in Pickering, police said.

A white vehicle was observed entering Madonna Court, where it briefly stopped out front of a residence. Numerous shots were fired from the suspect vehicle, striking a parked vehicle and the residence. Thankfully, no one was injured, police added.

Investigators do not believe this was a random attack. The investigation is continuing and anyone with dash cam footage from the area, or with home security cameras, is asked to contact investigators.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact D/Cst. D’Andrea or D/Cst. Chrzan of the West Division Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2526 or ext. 2565.
