Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) said a driver has been caught doing 108 kilometres an hour in a 60-kmh zone in Bowmanville.
DRPS East Division caught the offender at Liberty Street in Bowmanville.
The vehicle has been impounded for 14 days.
