Snatched Nina found in Brampton, reunited

Durham Police investigators confirmed that the stolen dog (Nina) was located early yesterday morning in Brampton, in good condition.

At about 3:30 am yesterday, investigators were contacted by Brampton Animal Services and advised that Nina was located by a citizen wandering outside a hotel parking lot on Nevets Road in Brampton. The dog was checked out by a veterinarian and deemed healthy. She was reunited with her owners yesterday afternoon.

Investigators arrested a 28-year-old male from Pickering and he was charged with: Robbery; Assault with a Weapon and Administer a Noxious Thing. He was released on an Undertaking.

Investigators continue to look for the second suspect, who is described as a male, black, tall, heavy build, orange/blonde hair and goes by the name of “Deebo.”
