Stabbed Oshawa man rushed to trauma centre

A 27-year-old Oshawa man was rushed to a Toronto trauma centre early yesterday morning with serious injuries after a stabbing incident. He was in a stable condition.

On January 18 at about 4:30 am, officers were called to the lobby of a parking garage on Mary Street North in downtown Oshawa regarding an injured male, police said.

The incident may have occurred at an apartment on Simcoe Street near Athol Street in Oshawa. No arrests have been made and investigators believe this was not a random incident. No suspect descriptions are available at this time.
