String of commercial break-and-enters in Pickering

Police are looking to identify a suspect after a string of break and enters at several businesses in Pickering.

On Wednesday, September 15, at approximately 3:00 am, members of West Division were dispatched to a commercial alarm at a business near the intersection of Bayly Street and Liverpool Road. Officers responded to find a business had been broken into. The suspect used a projectile to break the glass and then entered the business and took the cash register.

Further investigation revealed four other businesses located on Bayly Street between Whites Road and Brock Road were also broken into in the same manner.

Video surveillance captured images of the suspect. He is described as male, White, 30-40 years of age, slim build with short brown hair. He was wearing a light blue surgical mask, dark blue or black polo shirt with button collar, blue jeans and black shoes.
