Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday said it is looking into reports of shots being fired.
Officers from the DRPS Central East Division are investigating after shots were fired near Simcoe Street and Mill Street, said a brief police tweet.
Police said no injuries were reported by the time the tweet was posted late afternoon.
