Pickering gas station robbed at knife-point

Durham Police investigators are trying to identify two suspects involved in a commercial robbery on Thursday.

On September 19 at 1:00 am, members of West Division responded to a robbery at the Esso gas station on Kingston Road and Rosebank Road in Pickering. The gas station was closed at the time of the robbery and an employee was getting ready to open up the store.

The female victim located two male suspects who broke into the gas station and she observed them breaking into display cabinets and stealing cigarettes. The victim confronted them and one of the suspects pulled out a knife and threatened her not to call police.

The two suspects fled the store with property. The victim didn’t receive any physical injuries.

Suspect #1 is described as male, white, 25-30 years old, with a kerchief over his face, wearing a grey-hooded sweater and black pants.

Suspect #2 is described as male, white, about 25-30 years old, with a kerchief over his face, wearing a black-hooded sweater.
