Teacher charged with sexual assault of two girls

A teacher has been charged with sexually assaulting at least two schoolgirls – after the public and the media helped bring new information on the case.

“The Toronto Police Service would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance with a Sexual Assault investigation,” said a TPS statement.

As a result of new information, it is further alleged that sometime between January 1, 2016 to January 31, 2019, a man sexually assaulted two girls who attended Academy of New Echo Education (ANEE), which was previously called Canada Creative Education Centre known to students as (CCEC).

On Thursday, August 15, Christopher Morrison, 44, of Toronto, was arrested by officers from the Child & Youth Advocacy Centre (CYAC). He has been charged with:

1. two counts of Sexual Interference
2. two counts of Sexual Assault
