Long term bridge closure – Concession Road 5 over Highway 35/115
The Concession Road 5 bridge over Highway 35/115 will remain closed until midnight on Monday, September 2 for construction.
The construction will result in the following:
- Off-ramp from Highway 35/115 northbound to Concession Road 5 westbound will be closed for the duration of the closure
- No access available for emergency vehicles.
Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes for the duration of the closure. Access to Concession Road 5 is available via signed detour route.
Park Street Closure
Park Street between Church Street and Main Street will close on August 24 from noon to 10 pm for OronoFest. Detour available via local alternates.
Baseline Road Closure
Baseline Road between Holt Road and Solina Road will close from August 29 to September 6 (tentative dates) for cross culvert replacement and area works. Detour available via Solina Road.
West Scugog Lane
West Scugog Lane between Bons Avenue and Willoughby Place will close August 29 to 30, 2019 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for underground services works. Detours via local alternates.
Road Closures: Concession 3, 4, 5 and Lovekin Road
Road Closures for Concession 3 and 4: For the road works at Concession 3 and 4, one lane of traffic will be maintained at all times for the travelling public. Minor delays to be anticipated, approximately five to ten minutes
No full closures will be in place at these locations
Road Closures for Concession 5: Please be advised that Concession 5 roadway will be closed entirely for a duration of two weeks beginning Aug 19. During this time, there will be no access from highway 35/115 to Concession Road 5. The public is to follow detour 3 for Eastbound access and detour 4 for Westbound access. Full access of Concession Rd 5 will be opened by September 2, 2019.
Road Closures for Lovekin Road: For the road works at Lovekin Road, one lane of traffic will be maintained at all times for the travelling public. Minor delays to be anticipated, approximately five to ten minutes
The full closure of Lovekin Road is currently scheduled for September 16, 2019.
