Teens robbed of jewelry during music video shoot

Three teenagers who brought cash and jewelry as props for a music video shoot in Pickering were robbed by two men on Thursday.

On August 22 at 9 pm, three teenagers (aged 17 and 16) attended the school yard of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic School on Strouds Lane in Pickering to shoot a music video. They brought with them cash and jewelry as props for the filming.

One male suspect walked by the youths several times to see what they were doing. At approximately 9:40 pm, the suspect and another male suspect approached the victims from behind and demanded the cash and jewelry. One suspect held a knife to the back of one male victim.

Suspects Unknown

Some of the items were turned over to the suspects, who fled southbound on Rosebank Road. After about 10-15 minutes, police were called. Officers searched the area, but no arrests were made. No physical injuries were reported. The three victims did not know the two suspects.

Suspect #1 is described as a male, black, 18-25 years old, 6’2″ tall with a slender build, black curly hair, unshaven, wearing a grey, hooded sweatshirt and white running shoes.

Suspect #2 is described as a male, South East Asian, 18-25 years old, 6′ tall, medium build, light/fair complexion, black hair, moustache, wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt.
