Thief steals lottery tickets, cash before fleeing

Durham police investigators are asking the public to help identify a suspect who robbed an Oshawa convenience store on Sunday afternoon.

On April 5 at around 4:30 pm, a lone male entered the Four Seasons Convenience store on Wilson Road South in Oshawa and assaulted the victim. The suspect punched the male clerk several times and stole lottery tickets and cash before fleeing, police said.

Police searched the area with negative results. The victim suffered minor injuries, they added.

The suspect is described as male, white, 6′ tall, 30’s. He wore a black jacket with yellow on the sleeves. He had a black hooded sweater, grey baseball cap, brown pants, white shoes and covered his face with a mask.
