Three injured, two killed in overnight shooting at bar

Fives males have been shot overnight at a bar in Oshawa. Two of those males have died from their injuries.

On Saturday, June 25 at about 12:45 am, Police were dispatched to ‘The BLVD’ restaurant and bar located at 1812 Simcoe Street North, for reports of shots being fired. Officers arrived on scene and identified five victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One male was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. A second male was transported to a Toronto Trauma Centre in critical condition where he later succumbed to his injuries. The three remaining victims were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and released, said a police statement.

Police are speaking with witnesses and will provide a suspect description when one becomes available.

The DRPS Homicide Unit is currently investigating and are appealing for any witnesses with video or information to come forward.
