Three stab teen and flee with his cell phone

Durham Police investigators are looking for absconding suspects after a 15-year-old male was stabbed in a street-level robbery in Ajax.

At about 10:20 pm on March 22, police were called to the area of Torr Lane and Trott Lane, Ajax for an armed person call.

Police located a 15-year-old male with a stab wound, who’d had his cellphone stolen. The victim was transported to a Toronto-area trauma center and is in stable condition, said a police statement.

Three suspects fled eastbound from the scene, and are associated with a dark coloured SUV, possibly a blue Honda CRV, said the statement.

Investigators are asking for anyone with information or video footage, including dashcam and home surveillance, to please contact police.
